2010 365 Art Journal calendar challenge

Wow! What happened to February? Where'd it go.....

Here are my February pages a month ago!

my February pages now!

I had a lovely month on the whole :) The weather hasn't been brilliant tho & me & the children all ended up with a really bad colds & did next to nothing during the school holidays. :( but sometimes these things are sent to slow us down & stop & make us rest for a reason! & it did!! My dad has sorted out what his carers can & can't do! & we had lots of quality time staying indoors. :)

I have got my March pages already for the off!

March is really quite a sad month for me & not one I ever look forward to... That said it is my DD's birthday & for a while the month brightens. :)

I wasn't sure how I was going to decorate my pages do I ignore my grief or do I embrace it & deal with it? I've done the latter & got on with it.

I look forward to visiting everyone's February pages & hope everyone has a lovely March.Love & best wishes. Gez.xx

  1. Hi Gez,
I look forward to your journal pages. They cheer me up and help me recall the high points of my month. If March is a difficult month try to get by on the happy memories - sometimes not easy to do but so worthwhile.
    Special Hugs,
    Fiona x

  6. Your completed Feb spread looks fantastic and I love the quotes you have chosen for your March pages. Tough decision but it would probably feel weird looking back over pages that you know didn't really represent everything you were feeling so I strongly suspect you've gone the right way. Glad your enforced spell at home had at least a little positive impact on your dad's care, too!
