My 1st bracelet

Well.... I have been a good girl today! I stayed home & rested my heel & I have to say rest really does help a poorly foot suffering from Plantar Fasciitis. Oooh, the pain has been horrendous!

While the boys were busy this afternoon... playing with plastic army men in a sink full of water!!

I spied my little saucer of beads......

This is as far as I'd got making up my bracelet.....

I included my new beads quite a few weeks ago on WOYWW & then promptly lost the instructions! I thought a kit would be a good starting point.....

So, when I found them again the other week...
I put them somewhere safe!

I don't know if it's me but goodness I really struggled to bend & twist the head pins!

I enjoyed deciding on the placement & oooh watching the bracelet come to life.... I was hooked!

I couldn't wait to finish!

Ta da!

Mmm.... I really enjoyed making my 1st bracelet.
I was really worried about placement but I think it looks okay.

It has been a nice distraction.....

Thank you for calling by & a BIG Thank You for leaving a comment.

xx

  5. I love the bracelet! I am far too ham-fisted to get into the jewellery lark (plus it would be another whole load of cash I'd need to find, rofl) BUT I am tempted! Hope your foot gets better soon - and everyone looks after you!

  21. That's beautiful Gez, well done on making such a lovely first project. I'd just advise you to keep practising with the head pins. You may find some are stiffer than others depending where you get them from.
Jewellery is lovely as it's quite quick and you cann fiddle about until you're happy xxx

  22. Oooh Gez, I totally feel for you. I suffered badly with Planter Fasciitus for three years. Eventually, it got better but now I suffer only mildly in one foot. I do hope you can find some relief. I found putting special supports in my shoes helped and also splints

Your bracelet is gorgeous, I love the colours

    Have a good week
