Something Completely Different

Over at Something Completely Different it's time for our 2nd week of skinnies (3"x5") & I've been lucky enough to choose the theme! Hope you like it!

I've used a piece of cardboard box & torn some of the paper off to reveal the corrugated bits underneath & given the card a couple of coats of Gesso.

I wanted to use some Distress crackle paint but didn't have time so I stamped the background with a lovely crackle stamp. The cat & words were free on the cover of last months Craft Stamper. MS punch for the leaves & my secret recipe flowers as thought of by my DD! & gems from my craft box.

Thank You for all the lovely kind birthday wishes from everyone visiting my blog this week. They are very much appreciated. Thank you for being so kind & thoughtful & for the lovely emails too. xx

I promise to call & say Thank You properly to you all & can only apologise for no blog hopping this week. Many of my lovely blog visitors know I have been struggling with Plantar Fasciitis (a painful inflammation of the heel & by jingo is it sore!) . I started yet another course of antiflams on Monday & 48 hours later started with an upset stomach & must say I am feeling very sorry for myself at the moment!

Sending you all my love & hope to be around soon. Have a lovely weekend. Gez.xx

  12. I love what you've done here Gez - I like the idea of skinnies - a bit like "scraplings" for cards and great fun to do. But I think I'll leave the cat stuff to others! hehehehe

  13. I suffered from PF the year before last, just before we went to London! Lots of walking involved - so my doc gave me a cortizone injection into the most tender spot and it worked a treat. Lasted 3 months, then the pain came back again, so another injection and haven't suffered since!

Love this skinny - excellent use of the free stamp.

    Have a good weekend.
