GPP Street Team ~ Crusade No. 44 ~ In a scrape.

Michelle over at {GPP Street Team} has come up with a fantastic challenge this month... & NO brushes allowed!

The technique is to apply layers of paint to your pages with an old credit or gift card or similar scraping device... here are my pages.

I learnt so much using this technique... & really enjoyed scraping away!

A great page to get 'lost' in... I only have one stencil which seems to be sticky backed. I was unsure whether to let the paint dry before removing the stencil & then thought at the last minute that it might pull the paint off the page which it did so that was something else I learnt!

My pages are unfinished as {Michelle} has something else planned for them in another challenge at a later date.

Can't wait! Thanks for calling & a BIG Thank You if you get the chance to leave a comment. Gez.xx

  1. Gez - *getting lost in a page*, love that. So glad to hear you had a great time. Love the color mix - especially that you can see the full strength pink on the edges. Great job! Those pesky stencils can get stuck sometimes - but that makes it interesting, and makes it look like it was handmade. (hey - I can't see where it was stuck) You'll see on some of my pages the same thing happened. Thanks for sharing with the team!

  20. Sounds like a very messy time was had.....my kind of technique! I'm sorry to read about your sad loss of Mr Glen, that's a great age for a dog but I know it doesn't make it any easier. I share your feelings, it so hard. Take care Jo x
