2011 365 Art Journal calendar

I'm happy to share my January 2011 pages with you for the art journal calendar challenge
running over on the lovely, talented Kate's blog The Kathryn Wheel

I'm working a little differently to last years journal.. I've gone landscape for this years challenge
& now have the confidence to work in a book instead of loose pages!

Bit hard to photograph!!
(stood on tip toes on a stool.. with my arms out stretched!
my exercise for today! :)

No swooshing of distress inks this month.. I have used acrylic paints
& some gorgeous digis from Tumblefish Studios..

In an earlier post last year!! .... last Wednesday I started preparing some pages in my new Moleskine

it's a teeny weeny page a day diary for 2011 that I can keep handy in my bag.
I was hoping to used it to jot down little notes
so I can transfer them to my calendar pages... well that's the plan!

it's not much bigger than an ink pad!
(..love the colour!)

Today's pages waiting to be coloured..

Goodness this little book is hard to photograph!

I hope everyone had a lovely New Year's Eve
& has a wonderful day today...xx

Good luck if you are taking part in this years calendar challenge..

Very Best Wishes & happy crafting. Gez ♥
