Batty about you!

I am having so much fun with Jo Capper-Sandon's challenge over on the Stampotique Designer's Challenge.

My daughter fell in love with Batty so I decided to make her a picture for her bedroom using a page from a book for the background..

click to enlarge & click again!
Stamps used:    Relaxin', Tree, Batty, Batty About You, Hanging Hearts & Jo's gorgeous Swirl Stalks from Stampotique Originals and also available from The Stamp Attic in the UK.

I was so excited to work with a chipboard frame produced by Tando Creative Ltd for this creation. I can highly recommend these frames which I purchased from Bubbly Funk.

I gave the frame a coat of Gesso & then applied a thick layer of white crackle paint (the only colour I had at the time!) I then built up layers of colour using Perfect Pearls.. the frame didn't warp or go out of shape when I used my heat tool & comes complete with a backing board & stand.

Thank you for calling today & leaving a comment if you get the chance.

Happy crafting. Gez
