Little canvas girl..

Hi Bloggers! I hope everyone is having a lovely week. The weather 'up' north has been nice this week but very blowy!

Thank you for everyone's lovely blog comments. Promise to catch up with everyone's blogs over the next couple of days..

I've been busy crafting this week (now the house is quiet! ... everyone has gone off to nursery, school & college!) sorry, I can't share any of it with you yet! on my blog but here is a little canvas I can share with you today..

Stamps used: Heart Flowers, Splatter & Tangled

I was inspired to make this by one of my favourite mixed media artists Kelly Rae Roberts.

I started off with a plain white canvas & delved into my box of pattered paper scraps & tore them to fit onto the canvas.

The papers were glued onto the canvas with gel matt medium & I then gave the papers a coat of Gesso just to tone down the pattern paper a little.. then I drew my girl directly on top of the papers & coloured her with my favourite water colour pastels.

I am really happy with her :) Think I might add a sentiment or a few words..just need to decide what!

My project wouldn't be complete without a little Stampotique Originals. The flowers were coloured using Sakura gel pens.

Thank you for calling & leaving a comment if you get the chance & a BIG Hello to my new followers..xx

Happy crafting. Gez
