What a night, what a fright!

and it wasn't even Saturday night!

Last night the front of our house was engulfed in flames, oh my, the heat!

I went to bed as normal around midnight.. just laid down & noticed an orange light above the bedroom window.. I then fell into that period of time where things don't make sense.. I thought it was a house fire but the fire in the bedroom looked okay.. I threw back the curtains to look outside & was met with a wall of heat & fire... a motorbike outside our house was in a complete fireball with flames right up to the roof of the house!

I quickly grabbed my youngest out of his bed & got his older brother to follow.. there was no time to loose.. got to the top of the stairs & yelled to my husband.. whatever you do DON'T open the front door... ring 999.

Everyone stayed trapped at the back of the house.... the front windows & door were starting to crack...

.....3am this morning I am padding around the house unable to sleep... thinking I could hear flames.. it's going to be a long day!

One of our windows this morning!

The smell outside this morning..... yuck! notice the petrol cap missing..... it hasn't been found. It was a pointless arson attack by individuals that clearly didn't think of the consequences....

My youngest 2 were terrified. It made me realise just how little time you have to react when you see fire.... & that nothing matters only your loved ones.

Stay safe today ALL my dear blog friends..
you are precious.xxxx
